City Owl is a musical by Brian Maitland and John Dew of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Filmed in isolation/lockdown, this is a concept of a musical film that we hope to make in the next year. Time is an odd being. She has one mission in this world: ‘help people’ – whether they want it or not. While this awkward (and sometimes aggressive) approach is not exactly appreciated by some, she is generally well regarded by the locals. To them she is known as ‘The City Owl’, for her wisdom, experiences and her ‘owl-like approach’. Everyday she sits on the same bench at Glasgow Green, scanning the populace and looking for someone to help.
